Hunting for Sand Crabs

Usually when we go crab hunting on the beach at night, we have a doggie with us to do the hunting and digging.  The bad news this time was that we didn't have a doggie.  The good news is that we had Miguel!  All of the rest of us were scared to touch the crabs but Miguel didn't care at all, no matter how big it was.  He just threw himself on the crabs and scooped them up.  It was so funny!  Everybody was spread out looking for crabs and you could hear from all over the beach, voices shouting, "MIGUEEEEEEEEEL!  I FOUND ONE!!!!"  We caught about 30 of them and brought them back in a box to study them.  Here's Nestor, Lucero, Miguel, and Ivan with our crabs:

Here's a bunch of the crabs:
Miguel and I had actually gone out the night before to go crab hunting because nobody else wanted to go.  We had such a good time and we caught 2 crabs.  We went racing back to the house to tell everybody what happened and when we got there, Ivan was already in bed asleep.  Miguel and I looked at the crabs, then at Ivan, then at each other and we instantly knew we were both thinking the same thing.  So we snuck into Ivan's room and woke him up with a crab in his bed!  hahahahahahahahahaha!

Later the crab ran into the kitchen and found a hole in the cabinets.  He ran into the hole and wouldn't come out.  We all thought he was going to die in there and then it was going to smell really bad and we wouldn't be able to get it out.  But all of our worry is for nothing because the next night after ALL of us went crab hunting, we found that crab scurrying along the hallway, running into Miguel's room.  Miguel and all the kids were already asleep because they had been running after crabs and pouncing on them for over 2 hours.  So that meant Ivan and I had to catch the crab by ourselves.  It was scary and creepy but we did it!  Here's Miguel and the crab that we put in Ivan's bed:
