car update

Okay my car has $5000 of damage, but it's not totaled! That's the good thing. The mechanic offered to buy my car from me so that I could buy a new car, but I don't want to do that. I would still need to have a loan and I don't want to owe more money right now. So they're going to fix it. They said it will take 2 to 2-1/2 weeks.
